Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha paid tribute to Indo Tibetan Border Police personnel who were killed in a tragic road accident in South Kashmir yesterday.
A bus carrying 39 security personnel fell into a gorge near Frislan area when it was on way to Pahalgam from Chandanwari area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Seven ITBP men have died so for while over half a dozen personnel sustained critical injuries.
A wreath-laying ceremony was observed in honor of the slain personnel.

Besides LG, Jammu Kashmir Police Chief Dilbagh Singh and others were present during the wreath-laying ceremony.
In a tweet, LG said: ‘Paid tributes to the Bravehearts of ITBP, who had lost their lives in a bus accident near Chandanwari Yesterday. The nation will never forget their courage, valour and supreme sacrifice.” (KNT)
