Police in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district have arrested President Municipal Committee for providing an illegal building permission to a man in lieu of some monetary benefits.
A police spokesperson said that a formal FIR vide number 120/2022 under section 420,466,467,471 has been registered against President Municipal Committee Magam at Police station Magam.
He identified the accused as Ghulam Mustafa Mir of Yagipora Magam.
Police made the arrest after taking cognizance of a complaint from a complainant.
The accused has allegedly provided illegal building permission from the Municipal officer of Magam. (KNT)
