Srinagar, Dec 30, KNT: Police personnel extended helping hands to commuters stranded on snow-covered roads during and after a recent snowfall across Kashmir Valley.
Police personnel including officers were seen pushing vehicles stuck on slippery surfaces and guiding drivers to safety.
Photographs and videos capturing these acts of kindness have gone viral, showcasing policemen braving harsh conditions to ensure smooth travel for citizens.
“We must appreciate the good work of anybody whether that is an individual, organization, or any department. Police did a commendable job during and after snowfall,” a scribe told the news agency Kashmir News Trust.
In one heartwarming instance, officers helped patients reach hospitals in time. Additionally, the police facilitated the relocation of some vulnerable residents to makeshift tents, providing temporary shelter and ensuring protection from the freezing temperatures.
