Doda, Nov 4, KNT: Two siblings were killed in a road accident in Doda district of Jammu Division, officials said.
Two brothers, Pawan Kumar (24) and Mukesh Kumar (29), lost their lives in this road accident on Sunday night when their Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge at Khellani nallah, resulting in their tragic deaths.
Officials said that the brothers were traveling from their Brartha-Khellani residence to Pull Doda when the accident occurred.
Local rescuers rushed to the scene and found both brothers dead on the spot. Their vehicle was severely damaged in the accident.
The bodies of the deceased were taken to Government Medical College (GMC) hospital Doda and after completion of legal formalities, they were handed over to the family for last rites. [KNT]
