IDigitalAKKI Media and Asteriaa Media Decline $48 Million Acquisition Offer

Indian digital marketing firms IDigitalAKKI Media and its premium vertical Asteriaa Media have declined a $48 million acquisition offer from an undisclosed international firm, according to a statement made by founder Aakash Kumar Jha. The offer was received in the second quarter of 2025 and included the full acquisition of both companies’ operations, intellectual property, and client portfolios.

IDigitalAKKI Media, established in 2018, has built a strong presence in digital branding, offering services such as Wikipedia consultancy, online reputation management, and performance marketing. Asteriaa Media, launched as a strategic extension in 2025, focuses on advanced brand positioning and authority-building solutions.

The companies declined the offer following internal discussions, citing long-term strategic alignment as a key reason for the decision.

“We evaluated the proposal carefully, but determined that continuing to grow independently aligns better with our long-term goals,” said Jha in an official statement.

Industry analysts suggest that the rejection reflects a broader trend in India’s digital sector, where emerging firms are increasingly prioritizing control over early-stage exits. The decision has drawn attention within the branding and marketing space, underscoring the rising valuation of niche digital consultancies.

As of June 2025, both IDigitalAKKI Media and Asteriaa Media continue their independent operations, with reports indicating ongoing expansion into international markets.
