Srinagar: Airport Authority of India Wednesday in response to a tweet by former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said that options for refund and rescheduling at “no extra cost” has been offered by the airlines.
Earlier, Omar Abdullah had questioned the “sudden” hike in fare rates for cancelled flights and likened it as “daylight robbery”.
This is how passengers to Srinagar are getting shafted by airlines – all flights got cancelled today & people who had paid ₹3000/4000 for their seats are told to rebook. Suddenly the same flights are being quoted at ₹12,000/₹14,000. Day light robbery & no government intervenes
