GANDERBAL: Amid surge in suicide cases in Kashmir Valley, a septuagenarian woman from Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal area ended her life by allegedly consuming some poison-laced drink at her home.
The incident occurred today at Zazuna village of Ganderbal.
The 70-year-old woman was taken to nearby hospital where doctors referred her to SMHS Hospital. The woman was declared dead by doctors in Srinagar hospital.
A police official said that they have taken cognizance of the case adding that reason behind the alleged suicide will be investigated. (KNT)
