Pistol shots fired upon a police party in Anantnag, cop receives minor injuries

ANANTNAG: A cop was injured after some pistol borne militants fired upon a police party in Lazibal area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

While divulging information about the incident SSP Anantnag, Mir Imtiyaz Hussain said that at around 8:50 pm, militant fired some pistol shots towards a police party near Lazibal area of Anantnag.

He said area has been cordoned off and a search operation is going on.

“One cop received minor injuries,” SSP said. (KNT)
