Body of One Missing Nomad Recovered in Kulgam, Search Continues for Two Others

Kulgam, Mar 13, KNT: The body of one of the three missing nomads has been recovered from Veshaw Nallah in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district, officials said on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Reyaz Ahmad, a resident of Chandian Pajan. Notably, three nomads had gone missing from the Qazigund area of Kulgam on the evening of February 13, triggering concerns among their families and local authorities. The other two missing individuals have been identified as Showkat Ahmad, also from Chandian Pajan, and Mukhtar Ahmad from Pratap Pora Lammer.
Authorities, along with rescue teams, continue their efforts to trace the remaining two missing persons. Meanwhile, locals have urged the administration to intensify the search operation to locate them at the earliest.
