Five BSF personnel including officer injured in North Kashmir road accident

BARAMULLA: At least five Border Security Force personnel including an officer sustained injuries after the vehicle they were travelling in turned turtle in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

The mishap occurred near Police Station Sheeri.

Police sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that BSF personnel from 194 Battalion were on way from Mohura to Baramulla in a vehicle (JK03-6804) when the driver lost control over it and it turned turtle.

Five BSF personnel including an officer sustained injuries and were shifted to nearby hospital for treatment.

The injured have been identified as Assistant Sub-Inspector Vinod Kumar, Head Constable Mukesh Kumar, Head Constable Tota Ram, Constable Aman Deep and Constable Jal Singh. (KNT)
