Srinagar, Dec 10, KNT: A fire broke out in the early hours of Tuesday morning at the MLA Hostel in Srinagar, causing partial damage to one of the building’s rooms.

An official from the department told the news agency Kashmir News Trust that the fire was quickly brought under control.
“We broke the windows and door of the locked room and put out the fire,” he said and added that the incident caused disfiguration to the building’s exterior due to massive smoke.
