Bandipora, Aug 6, KNT: A tragic incident occurred in the Hajin area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district, resulting in the death of a 20-year-old youth. Irshad Ahmed Dar, a resident of the area, slipped and fell into an uncovered well, succumbing to his injuries.
According to eyewitnesses, the victim was walking near the well when he lost his balance and fell into the deep pit. Despite immediate rescue efforts, Irshad could not be saved and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident. [KNT]
