A 13-year-old boy died after being hit by a tractor while basking under the sun on the Doodhganga bank in Chadora town of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
The incident occurred in the Kralawari area of Chadora on Tuesday.
Sources said that a group of boys was taking a bath in the Doodhganga canal. One of the identified as Ayan Parvez Lone was relaxing on the canal bank after the bath when a tractor hit him.
He was shifted to a hospital where doctors declared him dead.
Police have registered a case in this regard, arrested the driver, and seized the tractor. [KNT]
