A young man died after falling off a 20-feet high pole in the Humhama area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Sunday.
Police sources said that the victim was trying to adjust a cable wire when he lost his balance and fell down from the pole.
He was shifted to JVC Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The incident occurred in Humhama Chowk and the victim has been identified as Nisar Ahmed Dar son of Ghulam Rasool Dar, a resident of Razeian village of Budgam.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and registerd a case under relevant sections of law. [KNT]
