A vehicle rolled down into the Chenab river in Kishtwar area of Jammu region.

Rescue operation is underway and details are being ascertained about the mishap.

Police sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that a vehicle probably an Alto car went out of the driver’s control and rolled down into the Chenab river near Pul-Doda area.

A driving license pertaining to one  Manjeet Singh son of Pritam Singh of Bhaderwah has been found on the spot.

The accident occurred during pre-dawn hours. [KNT]
