‘Kashmir News Trust’ #KNT
A 35-year-old man died after falling off a walnut tree in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday.
The incident occurred in Hajin Kralgund area of Handwara.
Local sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that the victim Bilal Ahmed Khan, a resident of Hajin Kralgund had climbed on top of the tree, and was busy in thrashing the walnuts barefoot when he slipped and fell down.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and registered case under relevant sections of law. (KNT)
