Bandipora: Joint Forces have recovered a cache of arms and ammunition in a forest area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Police sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that after receiving input a cordon and search operation was launched in forest area of Tarbal Bagtore that falls in Gurez sector of Bandipora.
During the search operation cache of arms and ammunition were recovered. These include 3 AK-47 assault rifles, 12 AK-47 magazines, 2 pistols and 4 magazines, 16 grenades, and food items all manufactured in Pakistan.
Besides, a sheet of Daily News Paper of Pakistan based ‘Duniya’ was also found lying near the arms and ammunition. (KNT)
