A carpenter slipped to death while working on the roof-top of an under-construction house in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
The incident occurred in Buchoo Kokarnag village.
Local sources said that the carpenter who was busy in his work on the roof-top lost balance and fell down on the ground. He was shifted to District Hospital Anantnag, where doctors declared him brought dead.
The victim has been identified as Tajamul Ashraf Bhat, a resident of Dahruna hamlet of Anantnag.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case under relevant sections of law. (KNT)
