A 27-year-old soldier died in a mysterious circumstance at a hospital in North Kashmir’s Sopore town.
Sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that a soldier posted at Mazbugh Sopore fell unconscious and was shifted to Sub-District Hospital Sopore where doctors declared him brought dead.
The cause of the soldier’s death is being ascertained while police have started proceedings under CrPc 174.
The victim has been identified as Gurpreet Singh son of Balvinder Singh, a resident of Malikpur Punjab. He was affiliated with 22 Rashtriya Rifles. (KNT)
