Retired Soldier Succumbs, Wife, Daughter Injured in Militant Attack in Kulgam

Kulgam, Feb 3, KNT: A retired soldier died in a militant attack in Bihibagh village of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district, officials said on Monday.

Reports said that militants attacked the residential house of a retired soldier Manzoor Ahmed Wagay. In the attack, his wife and daughter also sustained injuries. They were immediately rushed to a hospital in Anantnag for advanced treatment.

A doctor said that three persons were brought to hospital where Manzoor Ahmed succumbed to his injuries.

A senior police official confirmed the attack and stated that a search operation has been launched to track down the assailants. [KNT
