Road accident leaves army officer dead, two soldiers injured in Poonch

Poonch: An army officer was killed while two soldiers sustained injuries in a road accident in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.

Official sources said that an army vehicle belonging to 101 Field Regiment met with an accident near Baloni forward area in Mankote sector leading to the death of a Junior Commissioned Officer and injuries to two soldiers.

They identified the slain JCO as DN Pandey while two injured soldiers who are undergoing treatment in the hospital are Naik Bharat Jagdale and Vijay Pawar. (KNT)
