Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Bank customers failed to make transactions as majority of the ATMs of the bank were out of order on Saturday.
Jammu Kashmir Bank faces frequent snags in its mpay application, but today, it faced an outage at almost every ATM just ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Scores of customers were seen waiting outside the ATMs on Residency Road in Srinagar. Customers left disappointed as they failed to make any transactions.
“I was here to withdraw the cash, but the ATM didn’t work. I tried other ATMs as well but they were also out of order,” Javaid Ahmed, a bank customer told news agency Kashmir News Trust.
Bank’s mpay application was not working on Saturday much to the disappointment of customers.
A customer said that this is not a good sign while the customers expect better from the bank.
Some customers took to social media networking sites to complain about the outage, calling the delay in solving the issue “not good enough”. (KNT)
