Srinagar: A 24-year-old girl was brought by some people to a Srinagar hospital with burn injuries on Tuesday evening.
The girl (name withheld) hailing from a residential colony of Eidgah Srinagar informed doctors that some unknown youth sprinkled acid on her face, as a result, she suffered burn injuries.
The incident as per the victim occurred near the Hawal area of Srinagar.
The girl has been admitted at SMHS Hospital while police after registering a case has set an investigation into motion. (KNT)
