Four injured in Srinagar grenade attack

 



SRINAGAR: Four persons including a non-local lady sustain minor injuries after militants hurled a grenade towards CRPF deployment in Barbarshah area of Srinagar city.

Sources told KNT that the grenade was tossed towards a CRPF party deployed on the bridge. The grenade exploded on the road, leaving four pedestrians injured.

The injured were shifted to hospital and discharged after treatment.

They have been identified as Shakeela Bano, a resident of Uttar Pradesh at present living in Barbarshah, Hilal Ahemd of Illahi Bagh, Mudasir Ahmed, a local shopkeeper and Shahid Nazir of Rainawari.

Joint Forces rushed to spot to assess the situation after the attack. (KNT)
