Police said that it destroyed two Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) after locating them in Dassal and its adjoining area of Rajouri district of Jammu region on Monday.

These IEDs were recovered by joint forces during a search operation on Sunday, police said.

The police said that a joint search operation was launched at Dassal and its adjoining area, during which two IEDs were recovered which were later on defused by the Bomb Disposal Squad.

In this regard, an FIR vide number 39/23  under section 13/16/UAP Act, 3/4 Explosive Act has been registered. [KNT]
