Poonch, Dec 4, KNT: Militants hurled two grenades at an Army post in the Surankote area of Poonch district in the Jammu region on Wednesday. The incident as per officials resulted in no loss of life.
According to official sources, two grenades were lobbed at the army post, with one exploding and the other failing to detonate.
A Bomb Disposal Squad was promptly called in to defuse the unexploded grenade.
Following the attack, a search operation was initiated to apprehend the attackers. The police have registered a case under relevant sections of law, and started an investigation. [KNT]
