Kashmir’s Higher Reaches Witness Fresh Snowfall, Temperatures Rise Across the Valley
Srinagar, Jan 21, KNT: The upper parts of the Kashmir Valley, including the popular tourist hubs of Gulmarg and Sonamarg, received fresh snowfall overnight.
According to the Meteorological Centre in Srinagar, light to moderate rain and snow are expected across Jammu and Kashmir over the next two days.
On January 22, the plains of Jammu are forecasted to experience light to moderate rainfall, while higher altitudes in areas like the Chenab Valley and the Pir Panjal Range are likely to witness snowfall.
Another round of rain in the plains and snowfall in the mountains is anticipated on January 23.
From January 24 to 28, the weather is expected to remain predominantly dry, with a slight possibility of isolated light rain or snow between January 29 and 31. [KNT]
