Handwara, Dec 6, KNT: A kid lost his life after being mauled by a leopard outside his house in Sharhama Qalamabad area of North Kashmir’s Handwara.
Local sources told the news agency Kashmir News Trust that a 2-year-old toddler was walking outside his house when a leopard suddenly emerged and attacked him.
Locals came to his rescue forcing the leopard to escape from the spot. The kid was rushed to the hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
The victim has been identified as Hasnain Nisar Teli, a resident of Sharhama Qalamabad. [KNT]
