Baramulla, Nov 15, KNT: An elderly man was killed in a road accident on Friday morning in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
The police said an elderly civilian Nazir Ahmad Sofi, a resident of Palhallan was crossing the road in Saderbal Palhallan when a speeding vehicle struck him.
He was rushed to the hospital where doctors declared him dead.
Police have registered a case and efforts are on to nab the accused driver who fled away from the scene. [KNT]
