Leopard drags away girl from outside house in Budgam, untraceable
A 7-year-old girl was dragged away from outside her house in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district, officials said.
The incident happened in Hariwani village on Thursday evening, when the girl was playing in the lawn of her house.
Official sources told Kashmir News Trust that a massive search operation was conducted shortly after the incident by locals, police, and men from the wildlife department.
The girl who was untraceable till the filing of this report has been identified as Toiba Mushtaq daughter of Mushtaq Ahmed Khan.
Officials said that multiple teams have been deployed to locate the missing girl and catch the leopard. [KNT]
