7/11 Departmental Store Plays With The Lives Of Babies For Money
Customers throng to the so-called 7/11 Departmental Store in the Sanat Nagar area of Srinagar city on a daily basis but not many people know that this departmental store sells expired items.
The store was in the news in the past for bad reasons and this time too it is in the news for bad reasons.
Police have formally registered a formal case against the store for selling expired adultered milk to mothers, a very serious offense.
Sources told the news agency Kashmir News Trust that Police registered an FIR against the 7/11 Departmental Store after receiving a complaint from a family that it is playing with the lives of newborn babies for money and selling expired milk sachets meant for them.
“It’s a heinous crime and we will not forgive the owner of this store. What the hell on earth he thinks he can amass wealth by killing our dearest babies,” a native of Sanat Nagar told the news agency Kashmir News Trust.
“I won’t bother if the store owner sells expired items meant for adults but for babies, I won’t spare him,” another resident from Rawalpora said adding that he frequently visits the store and buys his desired items.
Notably, police have registered and FIR vide number 48/23 under sections 273,274,275,276,420 against the owner of the store. He has been accused of cheating, selling unfit products and adulteration, etc.
