A father-son duo was injured in a road accident in Srinagar on Friday evening, however, the minor son died shortly before his arrival in the hospital.
Reports said that an LP Truck allegedly hit a Scooty driven by one Muhammad Arif with his son in the back seat.
The father-son duo was rushed to JVC Hospital where doctors declared the minor boy identified as Uzair Ahmed brought dead.
The condition of Muhammad Arif is stated to be stable.
The incident occurred on Tengapora Bypass of Batamaloo Srinagar and the victims are the residents of Hamdaniya Colony Bemina.
Police have registered a case after arresting the truck driver. [KNT]
