A man from Central Kashmir’s Budgam district infamous for drug peddling has been booked under Public Safety Act.
The police identified the notorious drug peddler as Fayaz Ahad Ganai, a resident of Hanjibugh Budgam. The police said that multiple FIRs related to drug peddling have been registered against the offender in various police stations of the district.
“He was counseled and guided and still he didn’t mend his ways,” the police said adding that after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent authority, the drug peddler was slapped with PSA and shifted to Kot Bhalwal Jail Jammu. [KNT]
