New land policy may start dark chapter in Jammu and Kashmir: Sajad Lone

Change of land laws in Jammu and Kashmir and amid the assertion from LG that existing land laws were ‘regressive’, Peoples Conference Chairman Sajad Lone has said that the new Land policy is not at par with the rest of the country and it may well start the dark chapter of now blatantly othering the Kashmiris.

Sajad Lone said that lease rules across the world and in India are fairly simple and on similar lines, but these are different and not without motives. [KNT]
