Police in Central Kashmir’s Budgam arrested 4 persons, and seized a JCB and 3 tippers for illegal excavation and transportation of minerals.
Police Station Budgam received information about excavating illegally and transportation of clay at Sholipora Budgam, accordingly police party of Police Station raided the specific location and arrested 4 persons and seized 1 JCB Machine, 3 tippers on spot. The arrested persons have been identified as Ashraf Mir, Farooq Ahmed Kuchoo, both residents of Firdous colony Bemina, Gulzar Ahmed Ganie of New Colony Kakanmaran and Imityaz Ahmad Chopan, a resident of Sholipora Budgam.
“An FIR Number 374/2022 under relevant sections of law has been registered at police station Budgam and investigation taken up.” (KNT)
