Militants Shot At a Worker, In 10 Attacks 4 Non-Locals Killed, 11 Injured in Kashmir Valley – “Kashmir News Trust” #KNT

Militants shot at and injured a non-local worker from West Bengal in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday.

The incident occurred at Ugargund village of the district. The victim identified as Muneeb-ul-Islam son of Abdul Kareem hails from India’s the Western State of Bengal.

Reports said that the condition of the said worker is stable at District Hospital Pulwama.

This was the 10th attack on non-locals in different districts across Kashmir this year.

The data available with the news agency Kashmir News Trust reveals that 4 non-locals have been killed in the ongoing year in 10 attacks while 11 have sustained injuries.

Among the 4 slain non-locals, 3 were natives of Bihar and one was a Rajahstan citizen.

Similarly among the 11 non-locals who sustained injuries in militant attacks, 4 from Punjab, 3 are from Bihar,  2 from West Bengal, and one is from Bijnore UP.

The injured non-locals are Akram Salam from Bijnore UP (injured in Arihal Pulwama), Bisujeet Kumar from Bihar (injured in Gangoo Pulwama), Surinder Singh and Dheerj Dut from Pathankot Punjab (injured in Nowpora Litar village of Pulwama), Sonu Kumar from Pathankot Punjab (injured in Yadar Littar village of Pulwama), Najmul Islam and Aqueel Islam from West Bengal (injured in Nowgam Srinagar). Besides 3 non-locals were injured in Magraypora Chadura and Gadoora Pulwama attacks.

The four non-locals killed in the ongoing year include Elaqaui Dehati Bank (EDB) Manager Vijay Kumar from Rajhstan shot dead in Arreh-Mohanpora village of South Kashmir’s Kulgam, a brick kiln worker Dilkhush Kumar (18) son of Narayan Rishi Dev of Bihar killed in Magray Chadura village of Central Kashmir’s Budgam attack, Mumtaz Ahmed of Bihar killed in Gadoora Pulwama grenade attack and Muhammad Amrez from Bihar who was shot dead by militants in Sodunar Ajas area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora.
