Crime Branch arrests Engineer from Srinagar for ‘misusing’ official seal – ‘Kashmir News Trust’ #KNT

The Economic Offence Wing of Crime Branch Kashmir today arrested an accused from Srinagar on charges of misrepresenting himself as SLTC Expert of J&K Housing Board and misusing Official Seal.
The Economic Offence Wing of Crime Branch Kashmir identified the accused as Engineer Hakim Muzamil of Baghwanpora Lal Bazar Srinagar.
Crime Branch stated that an instant case (67/2022) was registered upon receipt of written complaint preferred by Managing Director J&K Housing Board, wherein it was alleged that the accused has been disengaged from J&K Housing Board as State level Technical expert (SLTC), despite being disengaged he is misrepresenting himself as SLTC Expert of J&K Housing Board and misusing Official Seal.
The Economic Offences Wing of Crime Branch Kashmir conducted an inquiry into the matter & during the probe the allegations leveled had got prima facie established and accordingly a case at Police Station Economic Offences Wing of Crime Branch Kashmir has been registered.
It said that further investigation has been underway. (KNT)
