Drass, May 30, KNT: A driver from Central Kashmir’s Kangan town was killed in a road accident in Drass Division of Ladakh, official sources said.
The accident occurred on late Sunday near Pandrass area.
Sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that a truck (JK03-7203) on way to Kangan from Kargil went out of control of the driver and fell into a deep gorge.

The driver of the truck identified as Ghulam Hasan Ganaie son of Ghulam Qadir, a resident of Barwula Kangan died on the spot. Locals and police retrieved the body of the driver and handed it over to the family after the completion of medico-legal formalities.
A case in this regard has been registered at police station Drass. (KNT)
