Body of missing soldier spotted in Budgam village

Budgam: The body of a missing soldier has been found in Khag area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday.

Working as a driver in Jammu Kashmir Light Infantry, Sameer Ahmed Malla, a resident of Lorkpora village of Khag had gone missing a couple of days ago.

The soldier who was posted in Jammu had arrived in his village on leave.

Source told news agency Kashmir News Trust that his body was spotted by locals in Dalwesh village of Khag who informed the police.

A police official confirmed that the body of the missing soldier has been found in Khag village.

Sameer Malla- a resident of Lokipora in Tehsil Khag of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district was recruited as a driver into J&K’s Territorial Army in 2017. (KNT)
