Anantnag: A 5-year-old kid was killed after being hit be a school bus in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
The incident occurred at Dawoodpora Brah area of the district.
Official sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that a bus of St Lukes School was on its way from Deethu area towards Anantnag when it allegedly hit the boy identified as Tameem Bilal Bhat son of Bilal Ahmad Bhat of Khul Chohar while he was crossing the road. The student died on the spot, they said.
A police official said that police rushed to the spot and further proceedings as warranted under the law are being taken. (KNT)
