Unidentified militant killed in ongoing South Kashmir encounter: Police

PulwamaT: A militant has been killed in an ongoing encounter in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Police through a Tweet informed that an unidentified militant has been killed in Chasoo area of the district.

The gunfight is underway.

Earlier, the area had been cordoned off after Joint Forces received information about the presence of militants. During the search operation, contact with militants was established turning the operation into a gunfight.

The intermittent firing was going on till the filing of this report. The area is under strict cordon. (KNT)
