Militant associate arrested during search operation in North Kashmir, booked under UPA Act
Sopore: Joint Forces arrested a militant associate during a cordon and search operation in Nadihal area of Rafiabad Sopore here in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Police, soldiers from 32 Rashtriya Rifles and troopers from 92 Battalion launched a joint operation in Nadihal area after receiving information about the movement of militants.

A police official said that a militant associate was arrested during the operation. The arrested militant associate whom police identified as Firdous Ahmed Wani of Chek Seri Pattan was carrying an AK-56 rifle magazine and 30 live rounds.
He has been booked under UPA Act. Police said that a case in this regard has been registered at police station Panzla. (KNT)
