‘Murder’ of Kashmiri Shawl seller in Punjab Sajad Lone seeks CM’s intervention

Kupwara: Peoples Conference Chairman Sajad Gani Lone Friday requested Punjab Police to give justice to the Kupwara family who believes that one of their members selling shawls in Firozpur Punjab has been murdered.

Earlier, the body of Kashmir Shawl seller from Sirajpora Handwara was found in Firozpur a day after he had gone missing. The body of Mushtaq Ahmed Mir was found in mysterious circumstances.

His colleagues had lodged a missing report at the concerned police station in Firozpur.

“Mushtaq A Mir of Sirajpora Handwara, Kashmir was found dead in Ferozpore Punjab. The family believes he was murdered, strangulated, or hanged to death,” Sajad Gani Lone tweeted and requested Punjab Chief Minister and DGP Punjab to ensure that justice prevails. (KNT)
