Barely 3 KMs away from district Head Quarter, Budgam village lacks internet connectivity

Budgam: Students from Central Kashmir’s Budgam village are facing difficulties in attending online classes due to the lack of Internet connectivity.

Budibagh village which is barely 3 kilometers away from district headquarter suffers from worst internet connectivity. The villagers told news agency Kashmir News Trust that no telecommunication service runs smoothly in the village, be it BSNL, Jio or Airtel.

Villagers said students from the area had to visit other villages to find mobile signal for online studies. “They are unable to attend online classes due to poor Internet connectivity.”

Villagers urged upon the district administration to strengthen telecommunication services in the Budibagh village.

Pertinently, mobile subscribers in different villages in Budgam are facing severe network connectivity issues as the telecom service providers have allegedly failed to make the signal towers properly functional across the district. (KNT)
