15 grenades, 5 pistols recovered from North Kashmir’s Karnah area

KUPWARA: Joint Forces Thursday morning recovered pistols and grenades besides bullets near a government school in Karnah area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

The recovery was made near Government High School Hajitara Karnah.

Sources told news agency that local police and soldiers during a search operation recovered 5 pistols, 150 pistol rounds, 15 grenades, 5 magazines, 3 detonators and a packet of brown sugar with 999 mark.

Police in this regard registered a case and set investigation into motion. (KNT)
