SHOPIAN: Accusing China of backing Pakistan in sending arms and ammunition through drones in Kashmir Valley, Bharitya Janata Party President for Jammu and Kashmir Ravindar Raina Thursday said that cease-fire agreement is only by name while the reality is that Pakistan has not stopped backing militants.
Ravindar Raina who presided a BJP convention in South Kashmir’s Shopian district told reporters that on the one side there is a cease-fire agreement between India and Pakistan but on the other hand, Pakistan continues to indulge in militant activities. He said Pakistan can’t do this singlehandedly, but he has the full support from China.
Ravindar Raina as per news agency Kashmir News Trust said that Pakistan is smuggling arms and ammunition, explosives to Kashmir using drones with the support of China. “Pakistan has no capability to do this but is doing with the support of China,” Raina said.
In response to a question, Raina expressed anguish over the worsening situation in Afghanistan saying violence has completely engulfed Afghanistan while world bodies should come in support of Afghan government to eliminate militants there. He said Afghanistan is not only India’s neighbour but brother as well. (KNT)
