Srinagar-Anantnag Highway Collision Leaves 4 Non-Locals Injured

Four persons including the driver of the Bolero sustained injuries and were evacuated to Awantipora Hospital for treatment.

ANANTNAG: Four non-locals were injured after the vehicle they were travelling in collided with a tractor on Srinagar-Anantnag highway near Sather Crossing in Bijbehara area of Anantnag district.

Official sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that there was a collision between a speeding Bolero (HR39E-6631) and a tractor (JKo5-3028) driven by one Reyaz Ahmed Dar of Sather Bijbehara.

Four persons including the driver of the Bolero sustained injuries and were evacuated to Awantipora Hospital for treatment.

Sources identified the injured as Bolero driver,  Deepak Singh son of Kuldeep Singh, a resident of Haryana Punjab,  Sikandar Roy son of Mohinder Roy, Raju Kumar son of Ashok Kumar and Deena Ram son of Masu Ram, all residents of Bihar.

Police seized both Bolero and tractor and registered an FIR vide number 157/2021 under section 279, 337, 427 at Police Station Bijbehara. (KNT)
