Road Accident: Collision leaves duo dead, son of deceased critical
BARAMULLA: A biker and a father-son duo sustained critical injuries after a collision between a motor-cycle and a tipper on Baramulla highway near Sadipora Tregpora area in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
The son is battling for life in the hospital while his father and the biker were declared dead.
Official sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that there was a head-on collision between a motor-cycle (JK05C-8635) at Tregpora area of Rafiabad. Besides the bikers, the two pillion riders (father-son) were shifted to Government Medical College Baramulla where two among them succumbed to their injuries.
The trio riding on the bike were all residents of Reban Rafiabad area of Sopore.
The deceased have been identified as Muhammad Yousuf Dar and Aadil Nabi Gazi. Shahid Yousuf Dar, the son of the deceased Muhammad Yousuf Dar is undergoing treatment in the hospital and his condition is stated to be critical.
Police seized the tipper, arrested the driver and registered a case in this regard. (KNT)
