Leopard that had trigger panic captured in Khansahab area of Central Kashmir

BUDGAM: The leopard, which had triggered panic in villages close to the Khansahab area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district was successfully caged by forest personnel on Saturday.

Official sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that the leopard that had hunted down the goats and sheep was captured in Khudpora village of Khansahab.

They said leopard was captured after the villagers informed the Wild Life Department about its presence.

Subsequently, forest personnel swung into action and captured the leopard after tranquilizing it. (KNT)
