Srinagar, Mar 15, KNT: The National Education Policy (NEP)-2020 has been successfully implemented across all Government Degree Colleges in Jammu and Kashmir, Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare, and Education Sakeena Itoo informed the Legislative Assembly on Saturday.
Responding to a query by legislator Javid Riyaz, Itoo stated that colleges in J&K are already offering job-oriented and skill-based courses aimed at enhancing students’ employability and practical learning.
She further informed the House that while Business Management programs are available in various colleges, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has not yet been introduced as a standalone program, given that it is still an emerging field of study. However, she clarified that AI is currently being taught as part of the Computer Applications curriculum.
